چکیده

Amoebiasis is a parasitic intestinal infection caused by the highly pathogenic amoeba Entamoeba histolytica. It spread through person-to-person contact or eating drinking food water contaminated with feces. Its transmission rate depends on number of cysts present in environment. The traditional models assumed homogeneous and contradictory reality. heterogeneity its significant factor when modeling disease dynamics. can be described mathematically introducing fuzzy theory. In this context, SEIR model considered study. equilibrium analysis reproductive are studied fuzziness. Two numerical schemes forward Euler method nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) approach, developed for learned model, results simulations presented. simulation reveal that proposed NSFD provides an adequate representation dynamics despite uncertainty heterogeneity. Moreover, obtained generates plausible predictions regulators use to support decision-making design develop control strategies.

New trends in fuzzy modeling. part II: applications

Nowadays, one of the most important areas of application of fuzzy set theory are fuzzy rule-based systems. These kinds of systems constitute an extension of classical rule-based systems, because they deal with “IF-THEN” rules whose antecedents and consequents are composed of fuzzy logic statements instead of classical logic. They have been successfully applied to a wide range of problems in dif...

improvement of modeling quality through monitoring techniques

modeling is one of the most interesting areas in various fields of science. unfortunately data quality, which has an important role in the modeling, is not considered. in fact, most often processes encounter disturbances which results in the collection of abnormal data and may lead to a model different from the real behavior of the process. on the other hand, most of real industrial processes a...

NUMERICAL MODELING OF DIFFRACTION THROUGH A BREAKWATER GAP

Wave diffraction is a very important phenomenon in marine engineering and several models have been developed for its simulation. The new version of SWAN, a third generation spectral model, includes an approximation to wave diffraction. The approximation is based on the mild-slope equation for refraction and diffraction, omitting phase information. The objective this paper is to evaluate the per...
